I wanted to share one of my favorite GO-TO tailgate appetizers with you all, just in time for Super Bowl Sunday! I cannot believe the Super Bowl is almost here! This year is flying by!
I hope you love the simplicity and deliciousness of this recipe that was given to me years ago from my best friend!
RECIPE TIPS:
DIP:
I mix the dip in a mixing bowl prior to placing it into a cute decorative bowl because it can get a bit messy.
Real bacon always tastes better in dips, BUT if you don’t have time to cook bacon, bacon bits work just fine.
BAGELS:
When you are cutting the bagels into bite size pieces make sure you use a sharp bread knife so the edges are cut cleanly. (It’s all in the appearance!)
I prefer to buy the plain bagels (because most people like them), but feel free to switch it up with onion or everything bagels!
- 16 oz sour cream
- 6 oz shredded colby jack cheese
- 1 oz packet of Hidden Valley ranch dip mix
- 5 slices of bacon (chopped) or bacon bits
- 1 bag of plain bagels
- Mix the sour cream, shredded cheese, ranch dip mix and bacon in a small bowl.
- Refrigerate for at least an hour before serving.
- *NOTE: If you are cooking real slices of bacon it will take you an additional 20 minutes.
- Cut the bagels in to bite size pieces.
- Will need a mixing bowl and small serving bowl.
